"Oazis" is a well-known in St.Petersburg dancing group that performs the Midle East folk-dances. Its repertoir base is an ethnic roots of the dancing culture peoples dwelts in Israel, Mediterranean and East Europe countries.Having been adopted for stage, the dance material emphasizes the variety of the dance-culture of these countries.

It involves an energetic Arabian and Kurdish debkies, womanly dances of Persia and Greece, vigorous Hasidim and colourful Yemen dances and modern Israel dances.

The experience of dancers and original staging allow to show the difference of ethnical groups of the Middle East and to feel the coparticipation during the show.

Olga Druzhuk, the leader of the group, is concerned with ethnic dance since 1995 and have passed through international school of the Israel dance.

"Oazis" uses the different ways of show. These are solo-concerts with the lectures master-classes and perfomances joint with the different ethnic vocalists such as duet "Two drops", "Sefarad-ensemble" lebanian ensemble "Al Shark" and russian ensemble "Zabava".

"Oazis" is a welcomed guest of the Jewish feasts, annual festival of the Ancient Dance in St.Petersburg, Israel's culture festival in Irkutsk, international annual Karmiel festival in Israel, etc.
